Vinny Colucci

Presenter and award-winning photographer Vinny Colucci has been an active photographer since 1979 and a shooting professional since 1995. He has photographed North Carolina from the coast to the mountains, to the Everglades and westward into Arizona. Vinny is an avid outdoorsman and a member of Nikon's Professional Services, Carolina Nature Photographers Association, North American Nature Photography Associationand Wimberley Professional Services. He is represented by MyStock, with images appearing in Nature Photographer Magazine, Microwave Journal, and various other publications. He has presented at Grandfather Mountain, Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI), the City of Orlando, and Popular Photography Magazine.

Melissa Southern

An award-winning photographer and presenter, Melissa Southern has been shooting since childhood and has been a working professional since 2003. She has photographed in Ireland, England, France, California, and Mexico as well as all over North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Melissa is a member of Nikon Professional Services, Carolina Nature Photographers Association, North American Nature Photography Association, and Wimberley Professional Services. Melissa has photographs in the Guide to the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, various product magazines, and several other publications. She is represented by MyStock. Melissa has presented at Grandfather Mountain, Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI), and the City of Orlando. She works as the Forensic Photographer in Wake County, NC. Melissa also performs some graphic and web design. Melissa has a B.A. in Anthropology and an Associate Degree in Photography.

We also have several additional people who assist us at workshops. They are the ones holding everything together in the background. They also take many of the photographs of the groups in action, and therefore, we give them their credit.

Kyle Cook has assisted us in several workshops. She helps us hold the workshops together and photograph the participants throughout the workshops. Kyle is a valuable member of our team for so many different reasons.
